How Does Paralysis Occur?

Paralysis is a loss of muscle function in part of the body. It can occur from diseases such as cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, or other disorders. It can result from an injury or trauma to the spinal cord or nerves, from a tumor, or arthritis. It can even result from radiation or toxin damage.
